La Exotica Holiday Resort Now Open In Chintheche

The Lodge is located along the Lakeshore area known as Chivumu some 2 kilometres off Nkhata Bay – Nkhota Kota Road and about 1.5 kilometres to the South of Chintheche Township. The site lies in Chivumu area within the lakeside of Chintheche. The lodge is strategically located within walking distances to Chintheche Inn and Sambani Lodge allowing complementarity in service coverage

Accommodation
Based on the philosophy and ethos of La Exotica which is to balance exotic and nature and the targeted tourism sector- responsible tourism, the lodge has been built as a combination of eco lodge, looking for viable ecological solutions to all aspects of the lodge. Reducing the travellers’ carbon footprint is a main theme throughout the lodge.

The lodge has 12 major units which have 36 bed holding capacity. There is a restaurant and bar facilities as well as special resting areas, all built in a mixture of contemporary African style and modern design.

Restaurant
The Lodge has a fully developed restaurant that is open all day everyday and closes at 10 pm. Both the meals are services are excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Bar
La Exotica has a gorgious bar that is well stocked with a variety of soft drinks, wines, whiskies, spirits as well as the popular carlsbeg beers and laggers. We also serve mouth watering snacks including our popular but unique “Little James”, “Spicy Chicken wingelets” and braaiis.

Camping
The lodge has a vast garden where camping can be done. The camping areas has nice and clean bathrooms and cooking areas. The bathrooms have showers with hot water.

The rates are only US$40 BB per night for Executive Rooms, US$30 BB per night for Log Cabins and US$10 per person for camping (not including breakfast).
