Big Blue Star Backpackers & Other Nkhata Bay Updates

Although it shares a border with Kupenja, it doesn’t actually share the same beach. Also, Malawian Time Restaurant is closed , and Waterfront Bar has changed hands and is reputedly very noise and not so pleasant as it used to be.
We have just returned from Malawi and had the unfortunate experience of staying at Nkhwazi Lodge, the whole place is an absolute danger to all tourists.
